Mateja in Mateja sva zalogaj že v Sloveniji. Ko se odpraviva v München ...
Mateja and Mateja are hard work even in Slovenia. But when we go to Munich ...
OK, malo. :P)
On Wednesday morning we met at the Ljubljana train station and got on the train to Munich. 6 hours of train ride in one direction, wow! Time passed quickly at first because we were admiring the nature outside the windows. Then we were checking a travel guide to see what we have to see there, well, Mateja K. was checking the guide, Mateja D. was trying to sleep with her sore throat, but Mateja K. kept waking her up to show her things (After 6 hours she probably had enough of me! No no! Well, a little. :P).

Last kilometers went really slooowly because we were so excited but then we finally arrived to Munich. We went to the exit, full of optimism ... and stopped there because we had no idea where to go. While looking for a map in our bag we suddenly hear: "Can I help you?" In Slovene. We really are everywhere even though there are only 2 million of us. Luckily we found the right way and after 15 minutes of pulling heavy (because we need lots of things for three days!) suitcases we arrived to our hotel. Of course we discovered in the evening (while returning from city centre) that we were standing with our suitcases right below a sign that shows how to get to our hotel, we just didn't look up!
Finally! Our room! |
Our room was great. Clean, warm, bathroom was great, view was good (to the beer factory across the road). We went to the kitchen and prepared a soup to warm us up and then we went to explore the city. Considering our hostel apparently only has 2 stars it was awesome!

In lučke!
We went to the Christmas market where everything was decorated, holiday spirit was in the air, and we also visited some shops. Mateja D. was really excited about the cosmetics she can't buy in Slovenia. So we spent the first evening shopping, admiring the Christmas market, smelled hot wine and photographing all the churches - they really have lots of them. Oh and the lights!

Imajo tudi zelo zanimivo (in osvetljeno) drsališče!
They have a really nice ice skating place!

We also found underground shopping centre that is really huge. It's unbelievable what you can find under ground.

Next morning we went the other way and discovered Toys R Us where we spent more than an hour ... and some money. And then we again explored some streets and attractions on the way and we were photographing everything we found interesting, even if we don't know what everything is. Oh and they really have lots of fast food restaurants and international food!

Vremenoslovci so napovedali sneg in res je snežilo! Mateja K., Primorka, sem bila vsekakor navdušena nad snegom, ker pri nas res redko sneži, pa še takrat imamo burjo zraven.
They said it will snow and it really did! Mateja K. was so excited because in her town it doesn't snow much.
Snow snow snow! |
When we came back to the hotel on our second day we had lunch and then we started getting ready for ... well, read the next blog post!
V petek zjutraj sva spakirali in se s prepolnimi kovčki odpravili proti železniški postaji (z več počitki, teeežki kovčki). Na železniški sva si privoščili še Starbucks kavo in vročo čokolado (njam!) in se nato vkrcali na vlak, spet naju je čakalo 6 ur potovanja.
On Friday morning we packed our suitcases and went back to the station (with a few stops, suitcases were too heavy). At the train station we bought Starbucks coffee and hot chocolate (yum!) and then we went on the train with 6 hours of travelling ahead.
Bye bye Munich! |
U, želite videti, kaj sem Mateja D. kupila?
Oh, want to see what Mateja D. bought?

Douglas so na srečo ravno zapirali. Zakaj na srečo? Prodajajo NYX, MAC in Flormar stvari, boga denarnica!
Muller isn't really different than the one in Slovenia, well, they have Rimmer and Essie, but there weren't any interesting colours. But DM ... Oh, lucky they, they have P2 there! And thank god they were just closing Douglas. Why? They sell NYX, MAC and Flormar, my wallet wouldn't be happy!
Obe sva bili povsem navdušeni nad najinim izletom in vsemi dogodivščinami v Münchnu in komaj čakava, da greva spet!
We were both so excited about our trip and everything that happened at Munich and can't wait to go again!
